Imagine this….You are walking the limestone bluffs along the Mississippi River…It’s late October and the oak leaves are falling….You hear something walking up on the hillside, but you are not quite sure what it is…you stand very still behind a big Oak tree.
You look a little closer and out of no-where, appears a magnificent Whitetail Buck. He doesn’t seem to pay any attention to you…it’s that time of year…he is just “On the Move.”
This was the very incident that inspired woodcarver/outdoor enthusiast-Ben Manor to create such a carving. With over 30 years experience in the art of woodcarving, Ben wanted to capture this moment for everyone to enjoy. Over 100 hours of intricate detailed carving and painting later, what was burnt into Ben’s mind at that moment, became a reality. This is a truly unique one of a kind, original woodcarving that captures the imagination.
