                                    Hand-crafted Folk Art Fish!                         As the most sought after fish in Minnesota, the Walleye is known for its pearlescent eye which it also receives its name from.  The beautiful fish is captured through Loon Lake Decoy Company’s Grand Daddy Bait series from carver Jerry Eppel.  Our popular miniature folk art fish sculptures also make excellent Christmas tree ornaments for any angling enthusiast.    Inspired by his love for art and his grandfather, who hand-crafted his own fishing and spearing lures, Jerry Eppel started the Grand Daddy Bait Company line of folk art fish sculptures and spearing decoys.  Our line of reproductions are crafted and painted to exactly match the original Basswood carvings of Jerry Eppel.
