This thin sleek fish is well known for its size and wiliness to strike any bait or lure.  The Northern Pike can reach lengths up around 50 plus inches, but as part of Loon Lake Decoy Company’s Miniature Folk Art series this slender fish only reaches 6.5” long.  Our popular miniature folk art fish sculptures also make excellent Christmas tree ornaments for any angling enthusiast.  

            Inspired by his love for art and his grandfather's hand-crafted fishing and spearing lures, Jerry Eppel started the Grand Daddy Bait Company line of folk art fish sculptures and spearing decoys.  Our line of reproductions are crafted and painted to exactly match the original Basswood carvings of Jerry Eppel.
