At one time the Pintail was the most abundant duck in North America. Nicknamed the “Greyhound of the Air”, because of their elongated body and central tail feathers, these elegant birds are as graceful in the air as they are beautiful.

Each lamp is a hand crafted and hand painted reproduction of a Sam and Lilly Nottleman original wood carving. At 31 inches tall this striking lamp is the perfect fit for any home, cabin, lodge or office setting.

The tail is removable for safe cleaning and shipping and if an accident does happen, an inexpensive replacement tail is available.

The lined leatherette shade is shipped separately to ensure safe arrival.
